Mr. Ortmeyer is active in the State Bar Business Law Section and

in several local community organizations.

Pro Bono Work

Mr. Ortmeyer is currently helping to organize an initiative designed to reduce health disparities in economically-disadvantaged  areas of Eastern Contra Costa County.  The intiative is being sponsored by, among others, The Center for Human Development, the Contra Costa County Health Services Department and the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Community Health Fund

Professional Activities

Mr. Ortmeyer is currently serving on the Corporations Committee of the California State Bar’s Business Law Section, as Vice Chair Education and Vice Chair Corporate Law Departments. 

Mr. Ortmeyer served as Chairman of the Financial Institutions Committee of the Business Law Section during 1994-95.

Community

President of the Board, Center for Human Development, a Pleasant Hill-based non-profit serving communities, families, and youth.

Member, Contra Costa Council
